State of being

During my week at the International Dance Festival New Orleans Incubator Residency, I have been researching mutable pedagogical approaches and choreographic processes for greater accessibility. My methods have taken a few forms:

1) I have been conducting interviews with dancers about their experiences moving in a changing body.

2) I have been testing movement scores that privilege somatic and proprioceptive awareness, autonomy, and mutability over one single shape or technical approach.
