Jakki Kalogridis is a New Orleans-based disabled dancer, choreographer, visual artist, and writer. She holds an MFA in Dance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a BFA in Studio Art from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She was a choreographer-in-residence at Space Station Dance Residency in St. Louis (2023), was selected for the inaugural cohort at the International Dance Festival New Orleans Incubator Residency (2026), and is an Artist-In-Residence at New Marigny Theatre (2026-27). Jakki founded New Orleans Colorguard Arts in 2015, which offered programs teaching colorguard and dance through studio classes and workshops, a parading krewe, and stage recitals for local performers to showcase their talents. She is currently Co-Director of Shoestring Dance Residency.

Jakki has been a Featured Designer at New Orleans Fashion week, and won “New Orleans Designer of the Year” at a Raw Showcase is 2014. She has created custom costumes for numerous choreographers, dancers, musical artists, and private clients.

Her recent artistic works include Conditional Love (2026 installation/performance), I’m Not Daedalus Yet (2025 choreography), Pestilence (2025 series of art books), I’m Thoreau Waiting (2023 choreography and prose), Fast-Paced World (2023 choreography and costumes), and Untitled (Ode to a New Atlantis) (2021 choreography).
