Shoestring Dance Residency

Thank you to everyone who participated in and attended the very first performance from Shoestring Dance Residency! It was so wonderful to be able to give choreographers the time and space to explore. We are already planning our next residency, so stay tuned for that!

Welcome to an experiment in process and performance for dance in New Orleans !

The premise is this: four choreographers will each create a new performance work in just two weeks and on a shoestring budget. The culminating performance will take the audience on a deep-dive into our featured artists’ current interests, obsessions, and performance research. Come for the show and stay for the post-show Q&A.
