Custom Order Timeline

Once your Consult Request Form is submitted through the website, we will reach out within 24-48 hours to schedule a First Consult

Your First Consult is free and might last anywhere between 15-30 minutes. At this appointment, the information provided in the Consult Form will be discussed. We will share what to expect from the custom design process and answer any questions. We will set a Second Consult date if you would like to move forward with the design process at this time. Second Consults usually take place 3-7 days later.

At your Second Consult, you will see sketches and swatches for your custom design. We can easily make additions or adjustments to your design at this point. Timeline will be discussed based on our current workload, the scope of your project, and availability of materials. A link to our Measurement Form will be furnished to you at this time. You should provide accurate measurements and are encouraged to get them professionally done by either JKCS or another tailor. Second Consults require a $50 fee, paid in advance of your scheduled appointment. This fee will be applied directly towards your deposit if you choose to move forward with your design.

Once your design is finalized, you will receive a digital Contract and an emailed copy of your design.

Once your Contract is signed, a 50% Deposit is paid, and your Measurement Form has been submitted, fabric and notions with be procured and work will begin. You will be provided an estimated Completion Date at this time.

JKCS will reach out to let you know when your order has been completed. The remaining balance will be invoiced at this time. Once the balance is paid, JKCS will notify you when your order is shipped or is ready for local pickup.

The Timeline and promised completion date may be affected if you elect to make alterations to your design at any point during the process. You will be notified if and when this is a factor.
